Mystic Dance

Every person can awaken to the inner mystic inside them.  Whether how small, weak, imperfect one be, the road less traveled that leads higher and higher is the mystic path.  This pathway is the narrow and most difficult road.  It is not for the fainthearted and those who desire a pain-free life.  It is a pathway marked by great difficulty, self-discipline, courage, and greater confidence in God to fulfill it.  If we devote ourselves to this mystic dance, the whole world will think we are insane.  The leading of the Holy Spirit will teach us new steps we have never thought possible or would have ever come up with on our own.

This great mystic dance is not for the future or expected just for the hereafter.  It is the mystic dance of the here and now.  It embraces the real in all its glory and all its sufferings.  It is the dance of Sonship where our transfigured self is lost in God.  This is the secret plan since Creation.  The music of the gospel of Christ swirls all around us into God's cosmic destiny.  The world of appearance gives way to the world of the Spirit and heaven is more real on earth than the earth beneath our feet.

As we enter into holy week, God is leading us deeper into the passion of Christ.  The ladder we are climbing leans against a cross.  There are many ancient mystics who guides along the way.  They are our guides, expert mountaineers, the great explorers who show us the way as well as the pitfalls on the journey.  This inward journey is a journey home.  It is where we find true life is hidden in Christ.  Just like the women came running out of the tomb that first resurrection morning filled with amazement and wonder, so we too have radiant faces to pass the revelations on of what God is doing in taking each one of us on this journey from the depths of the cross to the heights of the resurrection.
