One day the trumpet will sound and the war will be won
One day God will reach down and make us a wedding gown

One day our sins will be fully pardoned
One day our hearts will no longer be hardened

On that day freedom song will ring
On that day everyone will know Jesus is King

On that day justice will roll like a mighty river
On that day we will no longer be takers but givers

The resistance will be over and our chains will be broken
The Lord Himself will rain heaven upon us until we are soak-en

The world may shout in its last breath to stay down
But the earth will quake and we will stand at the sound

One day the glory from heaven will descend
The dead in Christ will rise and all lovers of God will ascend
