I saw the movie The Maze Runner with people trapped like in a cage
The maze is so high that no one could gauge
The walls are wide I must confide
What is on the other side?
The maze so long, what does it mean?
Is there something out there to believe
that can release us and redeem?
Have we discovered something lost
or is it something we recover with great cost?
Will my last question be, "what lies beyond the maze?"
Will I ever be free and touch the eternal with eyes to gaze?
